We partake in a number of local and international trade shows as well as curate our own regional Jane Sews Pop Up Shops for our customers. We are seeking out freelance individuals that are looking to join the team in the capacity of a Regional Sales Representative: overseeing regional events.  This is a project-based position located in the following regions: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Bloemfontein, and Port Elizabeth. We are a small group at Jane Sews, our team is warm, honest, and at the same time task-orientated and performance driven. We partner with talented individuals who share our brand values and work culture. 

Competencies & Character
The right person for this position will be an ambassador of the brand, consider him/herself as a proactive individual with a warm and friendly nature. The position will include sales administration and customer interaction as well as event coordination. An achiever that can use both sides of the brain would do well in this hybrid position. The ideal candidate will have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team. A self-confident and intuitive individual with a motivation for sales will thrive in this position.
Sales representatives are required to work with our customers to find out what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. 
This position requires presentation skills, product knowledge as well as the ability to analyze sales and report customer feedback. 
This portfolio includes sourcing and relationship building, location sourcing and coordination of dates, shop build, and travel logistics as well as the ability to identify difficulties and troubleshoot as problems arise.
This individual will be required to work together with a shop fit team to ensure that the pop-up shop is presentable, as per floor plan and create a user-friendly experience for our shoppers.

  • Organisation: This is a crucial part of the job, you should be an exceptionally organized person who has the ability to manage a number of projects and be able to stick to deadlines. 
  • Interpersonal Skills: An individual with the ability to communicate well (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to analyze sales and report customer feedback
Experience & requirements
  • Customer service: Some experience in customer service.
  • Interest in the clothing industry
  • Interest in trends in media, web, and design
  • Own vehicle, Code B drivers license
